However, this endorsement has sparked mixed reactions among MVA allies, with some questioning the rationale behind backing multiple candidates for the CM position, including Supriya Sule and Rohit Pawar. Shiv Sena (UBT) spokesperson Sanjay Raut emphasized the need for a clear CM candidate, stating that having multiple names complicates the coalition's strategy. As the elections approach, Pawar's support for Patil positions him as a significant contender against the ruling BJP coalition, aiming to revitalize Maharashtra's development.
