Suspects Arrested in Two Fatal Shootings in Anaheim

In Anaheim, 18-year-old Jerry Gutierrez has been arrested on suspicion of murdering 48-year-old Charlene Zuazo, who was found shot in her car after a crash on March 4. Police initially responded to reports of gunfire in the area and later determined that Zuazo had driven away from the shooting scene before colliding with a parked vehicle. Investigators linked Gutierrez to the crime, and he was apprehended and booked for murder on March 7. In a separate incident, 19-year-old Lawrence Romero has also been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Anthony Aceves Espino on March 2, with police arriving to find Espino unresponsive in his vehicle. Both cases remain under investigation, and authorities are encouraging anyone with information to come forward. The cases will be presented to the Orange County District Attorney's Office for potential prosecution.
