Nokia Modernizes Maxis Data Centers Across Malaysia

Nokia has announced a significant upgrade to Maxis' data center infrastructure in Malaysia, deploying its 7220 Interconnect Router (IXR) data center switches and Event-Driven Automation (EDA) platform. This modernization aims to enhance connectivity, scalability, and operational efficiency, enabling Maxis to streamline network operations and automate workloads in a secure environment. Maxis CEO Goh Seow Eng emphasized that this initiative aligns with Malaysia's emerging role as a hub for AI-enabled cloud infrastructure and hyperscale data centers. The deployment will also facilitate faster issue resolution and resource provisioning, ensuring that applications can scale efficiently.
