CBS Yellowstone Spinoff Y: Marshals Adds 7 Cast Members for 2026 Premiere

CBS is set to premiere the "Yellowstone" spinoff series "Y: Marshals" in the 2025–2026 midseason, focusing on Luke Grimes’ character Kayce Dutton as he joins an elite unit of U.S. Marshals in Montana. The cast includes returning stars Gil Birmingham as Thomas Rainwater, Brecken Merrill as Tate Dutton, and Mo Brings Plenty as Mo, alongside new regulars Arielle Kebbel, Ash Santos, and Tatanka Means portraying members of the Marshals unit. Brett Cullen joins in a recurring role as Harry Gifford, head of the U.S. Marshals in Montana, with Logan Marshall-Green playing Pete Calvin, a friend from Kayce’s military past. The series is developed by showrunner Spencer Hudnut and directed by Greg Yaitanes, with executive producers Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, and Ron Burkle. The storyline explores Kayce combining his cowboy and Navy SEAL skills to bring justice while balancing family and duty, highlighting the psychological costs of law enforcement on the frontier.
