Novi Police Investigate Home Invasions Linked to Gangs

Novi Police are investigating a series of four home invasions suspected to be linked to South American transnational gangs, similar to incidents reported throughout Oakland County. The break-ins occurred between October 31 and November 15, targeting high-end homes in gated communities, primarily when residents were away. The suspects employed tactics such as conducting surveillance on the homes and utilizing jamming technology to disable security systems. Each targeted residence was situated near wooded areas, which provided cover for the criminals during their escape.
