IDF Destroy Iran Nuclear Archives, Kill Top Scientists, Strike Multiple Sites

Israel has carried out a series of precise airstrikes targeting Iran’s nuclear weapons program and military infrastructure, significantly degrading Tehran’s nuclear capabilities. Operation Rising Lion inflicted extensive damage on key nuclear sites including uranium enrichment facilities in Natanz, reconversion facilities in Isfahan, centrifuge production plants, and the SPND headquarters in Tehran. The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) also destroyed the backup copy of Iran’s nuclear archive, which contained decades of accumulated knowledge on nuclear weapons development, effectively eliminating a critical repository of information. These strikes have coincided with targeted assassinations of at least 14 top Iranian nuclear scientists and senior intelligence officials, including the newly appointed wartime chief of staff, Maj. Gen. Ali Shadmani. Israeli officials emphasized that the campaign’s success stems not only from destroying physical sites but also from eliminating human expertise and intelligence assets vital to Iran’s nuclear ambitions. The IDF also neutralized multiple missile storage and launch facilities, further curtailing Iran’s military capabilities amid escalating hostilities.
