Multiple Sex Offenders Arrested in North Carolina, Wisconsin Child Exploitation Cases

Multiple arrests have been made across the United States involving individuals charged with child sexual abuse material (CSAM) offenses and related crimes. In Cleveland County, Justin McElyea was arrested and charged with lewd or indecent proposals to a child and manufacturing CSAM. In Iredell County, Christopher Sean Resue, a registered sex offender, was arrested after attempting inappropriate contact with an undercover detective posing as a minor; he pleaded guilty to multiple counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. In Janesville, Wisconsin, Tyler JR Minarick, a convicted sex offender, was arrested following a months-long investigation into his communications with a child in Ohio, during which child pornography was found on his phone; he faces numerous charges including possession of child pornography and sexual exploitation of a child. These cases highlight ongoing law enforcement efforts to combat child exploitation and protect vulnerable children from abuse.
