$20K Reward Offered in Dearborn Teen's Fatal Road Rage Shooting

Dearborn police are offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Rawan Baseti during a road rage incident on February 21. Baseti was driving a black 2018 Jeep Cherokee when she was shot after following a white 2015 Chrysler 200 to obtain the vehicle's license plate number. The incident occurred near the intersection of Tireman Avenue and West Morrow Circle after a traffic altercation near Warren Avenue and Southfield Freeway. Dearborn Police Chief Issa Shahin, alongside Baseti's heartbroken family, urged anyone with information to come forward, with anonymous tips being accepted by Crime Stoppers. Despite detaining some individuals for questioning, no charges have been made due to insufficient evidence. Baseti's family is desperate for closure, describing her as a beloved and vibrant young woman with a bright future.
