Iraqi PM, NATO Secretary General Meet in Brussels on Security Cooperation

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi recently engaged in diplomatic talks in the Arab Muslim region, meeting with Tunisian President Kais Saied in Tunis after discussions in Egypt with both Egyptian officials and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), where Iran signed a new cooperation modality. Araghchi also held a phone call with Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi to discuss regional developments and emphasized the importance of revitalizing Iran-IAEA cooperation through diplomatic efforts. Meanwhile, Iraq is advancing its international relations, with the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani meeting NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte in Brussels to strengthen security and military cooperation amid ongoing counter-terrorism efforts and rebuilding of security institutions. Additionally, the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Iraq met with Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein to discuss expanding bilateral cooperation across various sectors including security, counter-terrorism, economy, and culture. These diplomatic engagements highlight the concerted efforts in the Middle East and surrounding regions to enhance security, political ties, and international partnerships amid complex regional challenges.
