Illia 'Golem' Yefimchyk, known as the world's 'most monstrous bodybuilder,' died at the age of 36 from a heart attack on September 6. His wife, Anna, performed chest compressions while waiting for the ambulance, and he was later flown to the hospital, where he was declared brain dead two days later. Yefimchyk was famous for his extreme diet of 16,500 calories a day, including 108 pieces of sushi and over 2.5 kilograms of steak, and achieved impressive lifts of 600-pound bench presses and 700-pound deadlifts. With a height of 6ft 1 inch and a weight of around 340 pounds, he had a significant social media presence, boasting over 300,000 Instagram followers. Yefimchyk's dedication to bodybuilding transformed his life from a schoolboy who weighed just 70kg and could not do a push-up to a celebrated athlete, inspiring many with his journey. His passing has raised concerns about health risks associated with extreme bodybuilding practices.
