The couple purchased the apartment in the 1980s as a New York City retreat, where they entertained notable guests such as Bill Clinton and Tom Cruise. Their daughter, Clea Newman Soderlund, shared that the property was a cherished oasis for her parents, emphasizing its romantic significance in their storied relationship. The sale is being handled by their three daughters, with the hope of preserving their parents' legacy.
