Robert Pattinson Produces Crime Drama Primetime

A24 has announced the production of 'Primetime,' a feature film directed by Lance Oppenheim, known for his documentary work, including HBO's 'Ren Faire.' The film will be produced by Robert Pattinson through his Icki Eneo Arlo production banner, alongside other notable producers. 'Primetime' centers on a journalist who ventures into the criminal underworld, significantly impacting television, and is reportedly inspired by the reality show 'To Catch a Predator,' although this link has not been officially confirmed. Oppenheim will also executive produce the project, which features a screenplay by Ajon Singh. Pattinson, who does not currently have a starring role in the film, will next appear in Bong Joon-ho's 'Mickey 17' and is set to reprise his role in 'The Batman Part Two.' A24 is expected to begin production early next year.
