Pueblo Chile Fest Nears 100,000 Attendees in Southern Colorado

Several events celebrating Hatch and Pueblo chiles are scheduled for September 2025, attracting chile enthusiasts and food lovers. Gelson’s Markets in Carlsbad will host their annual Hatch Chile Roastings & Street Fair on September 6, featuring fresh roasted Hatch chiles, street fair foods, sweet treats, live vendor demos, and a variety of Hatch Chile infused dishes available in-store, with options for online ordering and delivery. Meanwhile, Southern Colorado’s Pueblo Chile Fest from September 19-21 will highlight local agriculture with roasted Pueblo green chiles, farm stands, a balloon fest, concerts, a chihuahua parade, and a jalapeño eating contest, drawing an estimated 100,000 visitors. These festivals emphasize local produce, community engagement, and culinary traditions. Additionally, the Pixelatl Festival in Guadalajara, Mexico, from September 9-13, will showcase Latin America’s vibrant animation industry with talks by creators and executives, fostering creativity and international collaboration.
