Kate Moss Launches BBC David Bowie Podcast, Recalls Friendship

Kate Moss, a close friend of the late David Bowie, has launched an eight-part BBC Radio 6 Music podcast titled "David Bowie: Changeling," exploring Bowie's artistic evolution between 1970 and 1975. Moss fondly recalls their friendship, including a playful moment when Bowie cheekily mocked her for not fitting into one of his iconic stage outfits shortly after she had her daughter, calling him a "bitch" in jest. She also wore Bowie's iconic Kansai Yamamoto Ziggy Stardust jumpsuit to accept his Brit Award in 2014, an experience she cherished deeply. The podcast features rare archival interviews with Bowie as well as contributions from notable artists inspired by him, including Boy George, Elton John, and Iggy Pop. Moss describes Bowie as fiercely creative and determined, with a sharp wit and a gift for banter. Her final memory of Bowie includes sending him a video of herself singing "Mr. Bojangles" for his birthday, shortly before his passing in 2016.
