Noel Gallagher's Portrait to Join National Gallery

Noel Gallagher, the iconic songwriter from Oasis, is set to have his portrait displayed at the National Portrait Gallery in London, with the unveiling scheduled for November 29 as part of the Legends exhibition. The black-and-white photograph, taken by Zoe Law, will be permanently added to the gallery’s collection after the exhibition concludes on March 2, 2025. Gallagher expressed his delight, humorously noting his identity as a 'grumpy middle-aged man' who dislikes being photographed. Other notable figures featured in the exhibition include Sir Bobby Charlton, Orlando Bloom, and Kim Cattrall. This announcement coincides with Gallagher and his brother Liam's revelation of Oasis' reunion for UK and Ireland concerts next year, marking their first performances since their split in 2009. The acquisition of Gallagher's portrait has been celebrated by Law as a significant honor in her career as a portrait photographer.
