Braeden Shrewsberry led the team with 22 points, while Tae Davis achieved a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds. The Fighting Irish dominated the first half, taking a 39-28 lead, and extended their advantage to 18 points in the second half before Dartmouth made a late push. Despite missing their point guard Markus Burton due to injury, the team's depth was evident with solid performances from Matt Allocco, who contributed 16 points. Notre Dame shot 53% for the game, although they struggled with three-pointers, hitting only 6 of 21 attempts. They will face Le Moyne in their next game on December 22 before resuming conference play against Georgia Tech on December 31.
