Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut has criticized Maharashtra Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis, declaring him ineligible for his position following a car accident involving a luxury vehicle owned by BJP chief Chandrashekhar Bawankule's son. Raut claimed that evidence related to the incident has been tampered with, suggesting a lack of impartiality in investigations while Fadnavis remains in charge. The Audi, driven by Bawankule's son Sanket, was involved in a collision with multiple vehicles in Nagpur, with reports indicating the occupants were returning from a beer bar. No charges have been filed against Sanket or others who reportedly fled the scene, raising concerns about the investigation's integrity. Raut highlighted that the name of Bawankule's son was missing from the FIR and accused Fadnavis of obstructing fair inquiry into the case. He asserted that without change in leadership, there will be no fair investigation in Maharashtra.
