Boston Blue Adds New Sean Reagan and Storyline

Boston Blue, the Blue Bloods spinoff, is set to debut in fall 2025 and will star Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan, who relocates to the Boston Police Department. Sonequa Martin-Green plays Detective Lena Silver, and the Silver family remains central to the story. Mika Amonsen takes over the role of Sean Reagan, Danny's son, who moves to Boston to become a patrolman, establishing a fresh father-son narrative. The cast also includes Maggie Lawson, Gloria Reuben, Ernie Hudson, and Marcus Scribner. Production is underway in Toronto, with some scenes filmed in Boston, and potential cameos from original Blue Bloods characters are teased. The pilot is written by Brandon Sonnier and Brandon Margolis and directed by Anthony Hemingway.
