Girl Scouts Launch New National Cookie Exploremores
The Girl Scouts of the USA are introducing a new cookie flavor called Exploremores for the upcoming 2026 cookie season, which begins in January. Inspired by Rocky Road ice cream, Exploremores are sandwich cookies with chocolate halves and a marshmallow and toasted almond–flavored crème filling. This new addition replaces the discontinued S'mores and Toast-Yay! cookies and aims to embody the spirit of exploration central to the Girl Scouts' mission. While the cookies are not dairy- or gluten-free, they are kosher and Halal certified. The organization has faced financial challenges, leading to recent price increases for cookie boxes and planned membership dues hikes to help offset projected operating losses. Despite these changes, all proceeds from cookie sales remain local to support Girl Scout activities in communities nationwide.
