Viral Ventures UK Ltd, the company behind Karen’s Diner On Tour, has gone into liquidation, disappointing customers and venues alike. Scheduled events in Southsea were abruptly canceled as the company failed to inform customers, leaving over 2,500 clients who had paid for bookings uncertain about refunds. The firm, which owes more than £400,000 to creditors, previously announced a pop-up summer tour across the UK but is now facing significant financial difficulties, including a winding-up petition from a creditor. Liquidators Jeremy Frost and Patrick Wadsted have been appointed, stressing their commitment to support affected parties. Customers are advised to contact their credit card companies for potential insurance protections regarding deposits paid for future shows. This marks a troubled period for the brand, which had already closed several restaurants within the past year.
