Devendra Jhajharia, president of the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI), confidently announced that India aims to win 40 to 50 medals at the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympics, building on their record achievement of 29 medals at the recent Paris Paralympics. This historic performance included seven gold, nine silver, and 13 bronze medals, surpassing their previous best of 19 medals from the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics.
