Two Fatal Two-Car Crashes Kill 19-Year-Old, 21-Year-Old Women in Scotland
Two fatal two-car crashes in Scotland have resulted in the deaths of a 19-year-old man near Brechin and a 21-year-old woman near Banff. The first crash involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a white Kia Ceed on the B966, where the 19-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and six others were hospitalized. The second crash on the A98 involved a blue Honda Civic and a grey BMW X5, with the 21-year-old female driver of the Honda pronounced dead at the scene. Both incidents led to road closures for investigations, and police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage to assist with their enquiries. Sergeant Mike Guild and Sergeant Lesley Morrison expressed condolences to the families and urged anyone with information to contact Police Scotland. The investigations remain ongoing as authorities seek to establish the full circumstances of both collisions.
