Two Fatal Two-Car Crashes Kill 19-Year-Old, 21-Year-Old Women in Scotland

Two fatal two-car crashes in Scotland have resulted in the deaths of a 19-year-old man near Brechin and a 21-year-old woman near Banff. The first crash involved a blue Ford Fiesta and a white Kia Ceed on the B966, where the 19-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene, and six others were hospitalized. The second crash on the A98 involved a blue Honda Civic and a grey BMW X5, with the 21-year-old female driver of the Honda pronounced dead at the scene. Both incidents led to road closures for investigations, and police are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage to assist with their enquiries.
