Agiloft Acquires AI Contract Review Company Screens

Agiloft has announced its acquisition of Screens, a pioneer in generative AI-powered contract review solutions, which will enhance Agiloft's Data-First Agreement Platform. The acquisition aims to standardize contract review processes, increase efficiency, and leverage the expertise of a global community of legal professionals through customizable playbooks. Screens' technology allows users to assess contracts against predefined standards and receive AI-driven suggestions for improvements. Additionally, the integration of Screens will provide access to a community of creators sharing their playbooks, fostering market standardization by tracking the success rates of various contract clauses. Six members of the Screens team, including co-founders Otto Hanson and Evan Harris, will join Agiloft, while Screens will continue to operate as a standalone product. This move is seen as a significant advancement in the field of legal technology, particularly in enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of contract management.
