Regional Foundations Award Over $12 Million Grants Across Multiple States

Multiple grant programs across the United States have recently awarded significant funding to nonprofit organizations supporting workforce development, community services, conservation, and legal aid. The Delta Regional Authority allocated about $7 million to 25 workforce projects in several states, including grants for CDL training in Holmes County, Mississippi, and medical scribe training in Coahoma County. Innovia Foundation distributed over $1.25 million to 113 organizations in Idaho, focusing on youth engagement and mental health services. Montana received grants totaling more than $1.775 million from two foundations: $175,000 for environmental conservation projects and over $1.6 million from the Montana Justice Foundation to expand access to civil legal services amid growing demand. In Massachusetts, the Cummings Foundation awarded over $2.5 million to 11 MetroWest nonprofits addressing housing, food insecurity, education, and mental health, highlighting a broad commitment to community empowerment. These grants collectively aim to strengthen regional economic development, environmental sustainability, social services, and legal support systems.
