Manhunt Underway After Targeted Shootings of Minnesota Lawmakers

Minnesota authorities are conducting a manhunt for Vance Luther Boelter, a 57-year-old suspect in the politically motivated shootings of State Rep. Boelter, who has a security background and was impersonating a police officer during the attacks, was seen wearing a cowboy hat and black body armor over a blue shirt and pants and abandoned a vehicle with police-like license plates and a manifesto listing targeted elected officials. Police exchanged gunfire with Boelter at Hortman's home, but he escaped on foot, leading to shelter-in-place orders for the surrounding areas. Authorities warn that Boelter is armed and dangerous, urging the public not to approach him and to report any sightings immediately.
