Former Temple basketball player Hysier Miller is under federal investigation for allegedly engaging in point shaving by betting on his own games and manipulating outcomes, as reported by ESPN. The investigation was prompted by unusual betting activity during a March 7 game against UAB, where significant betting line movement led to sportsbooks halting bets and alerting authorities. Miller, who transferred to Virginia Tech but was dismissed due to the ongoing inquiries, is fully cooperating with the NCAA investigation, though he has not played for the Hokies.
