Collins Aerospace Upgrades Avionics for Aircraft

Collins Aerospace has launched a significant avionics upgrade and modernization program for Beechcraft King Air and Hawker aircraft, specifically focusing on the Pro Line Fusion and Pro Line 21 systems. This initiative aims to enhance aircraft performance and safety while reducing pilot workload through advanced technologies, including touchscreen displays, synthetic vision, and improved navigation tools. The upgrades allow for the conversion of King Air 200 and 300 series aircraft to the Pro Line Fusion system and include enhancements for existing Pro Line Fusion users, as well as modernizations for Pro Line 21-equipped Hawker models. Nathan Voight, the vice president of Collins Aerospace, emphasized that these updates are designed with the end user in mind to simplify and improve flight operations.
