Jamaica's Sunshine Girls triumphed over England to win the Horizon Series 2-1, capturing the Rhone Hornsby Trophy. In a decisive final match in Kingston, they clinched a 61-53 victory after overcoming an early deficit, inspired by Romelda Aiken-George's 40 goals. Jamaica forced a series decider with a last-second goal in the previous game, winning 50-49, after England initially led the series with a 55-47 victory in Manchester. The series, spanning four matches, ended with Jamaica's strong display on home soil, displaying resilience and skill.
