Chelsea Lead Simons Race, Pursue Garnacho and Hato
Chelsea have reached personal terms with RB Leipzig midfielder Xavi Simons and are leading the race to sign him, though a transfer fee is yet to be agreed amid competition from Arsenal and others. To comply with Premier League financial regulations and fund new signings, Chelsea are working to sell several players, including Joao Felix, Nicolas Jackson, Ben Chilwell, Renato Veiga, and Tosin Adarabioyo. Renato Veiga is close to a move to Atletico Madrid, and Adarabioyo may leave for around £30 million or in a swap deal. The club is also targeting Manchester United's Alejandro Garnacho and Ajax's Jorrel Hato. Noni Madueke has departed to Arsenal as part of Chelsea's squad overhaul under manager Enzo Maresca. Chelsea aim to balance significant player sales with high-profile arrivals to build a competitive and youthful team for the upcoming season.
