Dee Hagemann Transfers to Memphis Basketball

DeeDee Hagemann, a standout point guard and three-year starter from Michigan State, has officially transferred to Memphis for her final season of eligibility. Last season, she averaged 12.3 points and 5.2 assists per game, earning a second-team All-Big Ten selection and leading the Big Ten with a record 2.84 assist-to-turnover ratio. Originally committed to Ole Miss, Hagemann decided to reopen her recruitment and ultimately chose Memphis, citing a personal connection to the program as her younger sister will also be playing in the same conference. She expressed excitement about joining a fast-paced team that aligns with her playing style and emphasized her desire to focus on winning rather than the prestige of the program. Hagemann played a pivotal role in Michigan State's 22-9 season last year, which ended in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against North Carolina.
