James Nesbitt stars in Harlan Coben's Netflix series Run Away

The upcoming Netflix series 'Run Away,' based on Harlan Coben's 2019 novel, stars James Nesbitt as Simon Greene, a father whose life unravels when his teenage daughter runs away. Recent filming images have surfaced showing Nesbitt's character covered in blood, depicting intense scenes where he is seen reacting to his daughter’s precarious situation on a stretcher. Alongside Nesbitt, the cast includes Minnie Driver, playing Simon's wife Ingrid, and Ruth Jones, among others. Coben describes the series as a gripping exploration of family secrets and the lengths one will go to protect their loved ones. The series is produced by Quay Street Productions and follows the success of previous Coben adaptations like 'Missing You' and 'Fool Me Once.' 'Run Away' is currently in production, with a release date yet to be announced.
