Boy Released After Lake Texoma Boat Explosion

A 5-year-old boy from Oklahoma City was hospitalized with burns after a boat explosion on Lake Texoma. The explosion occurred at Bridgeview Marina shortly after the boat finished refueling and a spark ignited gasoline fumes. The boy sustained burns to his arms, legs, and face and was airlifted to Parkland Burn Center in Dallas. Three adults were also on board but were not injured. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol attributes the cause to equipment failure and is investigating the incident. First responders quickly extinguished the fire, and the boy has been released from the hospital in stable condition.
