Fleetwood Wins DP World India Championship

Tommy Fleetwood won the inaugural DP World India Championship at Delhi Golf Club, finishing two shots clear at 22-under after a final-round seven-under 65. Keita Nakajima was runner-up at 20-under while Shane Lowry shared third with Alex Fitzpatrick and Thriston Lawrence; Rory McIlroy finished T26 and Shiv Kapur was the top Indian at T32. It was Fleetwood’s eighth DP World Tour title and capped a standout season that included his first PGA Tour win at the Tour Championship, the FedExCup and a leading role for Europe in the Ryder Cup. The victory moved Fleetwood from No.94 to No.25 in the Race to Dubai, earning him spots in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and the season-ending DP World Tour Championship in Dubai. The event, held Oct. 16–19 as part of the 2025 Race to Dubai 'Back 9', was the richest golf tournament staged in India; Fleetwood celebrated with his eight-year-old son Frankie after a week that included a fortunate bounce from the trees on 18 that kept him in contention.
