Royal Oak Stabbing Kills Elderly Man Woman in Custody

An 83-year-old man was fatally stabbed in his Royal Oak home on the night of October 24, 2025. Police responded to a distress call around 9:30 p.m. and found a 35-year-old woman with blood on her hands, who attempted to flee but was taken into custody. The victim was discovered unresponsive with multiple stab wounds in the basement and was pronounced dead at the scene despite emergency medical efforts.
