Bulleit Frontier Whiskey has launched its first-ever Bottled-in-Bond bourbon, distilled and aged entirely at its facility in Shelbyville, Kentucky. This new bourbon, which has been aged for seven years and bottled at 100 proof, adheres to the stringent standards set by the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. Delicia James, Lead Whiskey Blender at Diageo, noted that this release showcases the brand's commitment to quality and craftsmanship, featuring a flavor profile of toasted oak, nutmeg, and butterscotch. The bourbon will be available nationwide starting this month for a suggested retail price of $54.99 per 750ml bottle, but it is intended as a limited-time release. This launch is a significant milestone for Bulleit, marking a shift from sourcing whiskey to producing it in-house. The introduction of this Bottled-in-Bond bourbon continues Bulleit's expansion of its whiskey portfolio, which includes several recent innovative releases.
