Francesco Bagnaia secured a dominant win in the Austrian MotoGP, marking his seventh Grand Prix victory of the season and reclaiming the championship lead. Bagnaia passed pole-sitter Jorge Martin on the second lap and maintained his lead despite Martin's efforts to catch up. Enea Bastianini finished third, though he couldn't match the pace of Bagnaia and Martin. Marc Marquez recovered from a poor start and contact with Franco Morbidelli to finish fourth. Bagnaia's consistent pace allowed him to finish 2.2 seconds ahead of Martin, expanding his lead by five points in the championship standings. This victory also marked Bagnaia's third consecutive win at the Austrian Grand Prix.
