Olivia Dunne Retires From Gymnastics, Expands Advocacy For Female Athletes

Olivia Dunne, a former LSU gymnast and social media influencer with over 8 million TikTok followers, retired from competitive gymnastics in April 2025 after a standout five-year collegiate career, including helping LSU win its first-ever national team championship in 2024. Despite battling a knee injury during her final season, Dunne appeared as a cover star on the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue and has expanded her presence beyond gymnastics into modeling and advocacy. She is committed to supporting women in sports, notably through the Livvy Fund at LSU, which provides NIL deals for female student-athletes, and she aims to broaden this support to other schools. Dunne is also pursuing a graduate degree in technology management and plans to leverage her influencer platform to educate and empower female athletes.
