Lawson Replaces Ricciardo at VCARB for 2024 Season

Daniel Ricciardo has been replaced by Liam Lawson at Red Bull's junior team, VCARB, for the remainder of the 2024 season as part of Red Bull's strategy to secure its future driver lineup. Despite Ricciardo's solid performance, both his age and past decisions, such as leaving Red Bull in 2018, influenced the decision. Lawson, who has shown potential in his previous races, faces a tough start with a 10-place grid penalty for his first race in Austin.
