Homicide Suspect Dak Lam Arrested in Colorado

Dak Lam, a 22-year-old homicide suspect from Nebraska, was arrested in Westminster, Colorado, on Monday evening. He was wanted by the Omaha Police Department for first-degree murder in the shooting death of 21-year-old Keah Paljor, which occurred on October 12. After weeks of investigation by the U.S. Marshals Service's Colorado Violent Offender Task Force, Lam was located following surveillance of a rental car linked to him. Law enforcement executed a search warrant at a family member's home, where Lam was taken into custody without incident. Authorities did not recover the firearm allegedly used in the homicide. Lam is currently held at the Adams County Jail, awaiting extradition back to Nebraska.
