John Krasinski, Matthew Rhys Star in Silent River
John Krasinski and Matthew Rhys are set to star in and executive produce a new psychological thriller series titled 'Silent River', which has been ordered by Amazon MGM Studios for Prime Video. The series, created by Aaron Rabin, explores the hidden connections between two men as they navigate the aftermath of discovering a serial killer in their small town. Krasinski will also direct the pilot and several episodes, continuing his partnership with Amazon after his role in 'Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan', which recently concluded its fourth season. The project deepens Krasinski's relationship with Amazon, which has extended its first-look deal with his production company, Sunday Night. Vernon Sanders, head of television at Amazon MGM, expressed excitement about the collaboration and the gripping nature of the series. The production team also includes Andrew Bernstein, who has previously worked with both Krasinski and Rhys on past projects.
