ScottsMiracle-Gro Appoints Retired General Scott Miller to Board

The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company announced a significant change to its Board of Directors with the retirement of retired Lieutenant General John R. Vines after more than 12 years of service. Vines, who served 35 years in the military with leadership roles in Iraq and Afghanistan, will continue to contribute as an advisory Board member emeritus. He is succeeded by retired U.S. Army General Scott Miller, who brings extensive military leadership experience, including commanding the Joint Special Operations Command and directing operations in multiple global regions. The company’s chairman and CEO, Jim Hagedorn, praised Vines for his integrity and dedication, emphasizing the value of his ongoing advisory role.
