Louisville Announces 2025 Hometown Heroes Class

The Greater Louisville Pride Foundation has announced the Hometown Heroes Class of 2025, celebrating renowned individuals with banners across the city. The seven honorees include Will Smith, a two-time World Series Champion; Oksana Masters, a Paralympic medalist; Teddy Abrams, Music Director of the Louisville Orchestra; Dr. Kevin Cosby, President of Simmons College of Kentucky; the late boxer Jimmy Ellis; Ken Clay, a Louisville arts pioneer; and Nicole Scherzinger, a singer and actress. These individuals are recognized for their significant contributions both nationally and within the Louisville community. The Hometown Heroes program, revitalized in 2022 as 'Hometown Hero 2.0', continues to honor Louisville's notable figures through community nominations. This initiative underscores Louisville's pride and celebrates the resilience, talent, and spirit of its citizens.
