Jess Fishlock Extends Contract with Seattle Reign

Jess Fishlock, the 37-year-old midfielder and Wales international, has re-signed with Seattle Reign FC for a one-year contract extending her tenure with the club through the 2025 season. An original member of the Reign since their inaugural season in 2013, Fishlock has claimed numerous accolades, including the 2021 NWSL MVP and seven Best XI selections. She is recognized as a key figure in establishing the Reign's presence both in the U.S. and internationally, and she ranks second in the club's history for appearances (224) and fourth in NWSL history for regular-season appearances (198). Despite facing challenges during the past season, where the Reign finished 13th in the league, Fishlock led the team in assists and continues to be a pivotal player.
