Trevor Harris Signs Contract Extension with Roughriders

Veteran quarterback Trevor Harris has signed a one-year contract extension with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, confirming his return for the 2025 season. In 2024, Harris threw for 3,264 yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine interceptions over 12 games, leading the Riders to a 9-8-1 record and a playoff appearance where they lost in the West Final. Despite dealing with injuries in previous seasons, he earned a West Division All-Star nod and was recognized for his leadership qualities by the team's management. This extension comes as Harris was set to become a free agent in February. Over his CFL career, he has amassed 33,148 yards, 180 touchdowns, and 84 interceptions since joining the league in 2012. The Roughriders hope to build on last season's successes with Harris at the helm.
