PSJA ISD Hosts Young Women’s Leadership Summit

The Pharr-San-Juan-Alamo Independent School District is set to host the Annual Young Women’s Leadership Summit on December 17, 2024, aimed at empowering first-generation senior girls pursuing higher education and industry certifications. Keynote speaker Marlen Lopez, a PSJA alum, will share her extensive experience, complemented by leadership development sessions led by accomplished women. Meanwhile, the Jno G. Lewis Assembly #326 recently held its end-of-year meeting, announcing new leadership and celebrating its community service efforts throughout 2024, including holiday initiatives and back-to-school support. Additionally, the Women's Leadership Conference in Evanston featured a panel of women leaders sharing their personal stories of resilience in overcoming adversity, aiming to inspire others in the mental health and hospitality fields. These events underscore the commitment of women leaders to foster empowerment and community support across various sectors.
