Two Dead in Indianapolis Shooting Incident

On December 4, 2024, an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) officer was involved in a shooting on the southeast side of Indianapolis near the Brookville Road and I-465 interchange. The incident, which occurred in the 1400 block of Brookville Way, is currently under investigation, and no officers were injured. Separately, on December 2, two individuals were found shot to death inside a home on the north side of Indianapolis, specifically in the 400 block of West 38th Street.
