19-Year-Old Shot Dead in Lincoln Park

A 19-year-old man, identified as David Solis from Tijuana, Mexico, was shot and killed in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of San Diego on Sunday morning. Officers found Solis in the street with a gunshot wound to his torso at approximately 9:30 a.m. Despite life-saving efforts at the hospital, he succumbed to his injuries. Authorities have arrested a suspect, Edwin Aguayo, 21, while a second suspect remains at large. The incident is being investigated as possibly gang-related, with initial reports indicating the suspects were spray-painting gang graffiti before the altercation. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Unit or Crime Stoppers.
