Police Break Up Attempted Child Prostitution Ring

A 12-year-old girl, Madrafataha, was found safe after being kidnapped on October 8 in Klang, Malaysia, while retrieving food from her family's car. Police revealed she was sexually assaulted and nearly sold to a prostitution ring in Chow Kit, with the deal thwarted by public awareness of her disappearance. The girl had entered a vehicle with the suspects, including a woman she recognized as her brother's ex-girlfriend. Six suspects have been arrested, including a 13-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man, both of whom assaulted her. The police are still seeking two additional suspects linked to the brothel, and the case is being investigated under Section 363 of the Penal Code for kidnapping. Authorities have confirmed that the situation was exacerbated by the victim being given an electronic cigarette, rendering her unconscious during the ordeal.
