Manu Bhaker Advances to 25m Pistol Final

She qualified for the 25m sports pistol final with a second-place finish, scoring 590, and now aims for a gold or silver in the final event. Additionally, Lakshya Sen advanced to the badminton semifinals, marking a milestone as the first Indian male badminton player to reach this stage. Meanwhile, the Indian hockey team ended a 52-year drought by defeating Australia 3-2 in their Pool B match. Despite these achievements, India remains 44th in the overall medal tally with three bronze medals, all from shooting. Esha Singh, another Indian shooter, unfortunately finished 18th and did not qualify for the finals.
