Dozens of Dogs Abandoned Across Louisiana, Arizona

In Webster Parish, Louisiana, more than two dozen dogs were found abandoned and rounded up by local deputies and animal control, with many suffering from Parvo. Sheriff Jason Parker has initiated an investigation to identify those responsible, indicating the dogs were likely transported in a large vehicle. LaMa Animal Rescue is now caring for the dogs, with some already treated and others quarantined for health checks. Separately, in Glendale, Arizona, 18 poodles were similarly rescued after being abandoned, believed to be the result of a backyard breeding situation. Trappers reported that these dogs were in good health but matted, and they suspect the owner may have been overwhelmed.
